The Manchester United player is at the center of a scandal.

Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood has been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Harriet Robson. Tonight, the model posted photos on Instagram showing a bloody face, as well as bruises on her arms and legs.

“For everyone who wanted to know what Greenwood is really doing to me,” Robson wrote.

She also posted several voice messages with Greenwood, in which the footballer can be heard forcing her to have sex, despite Robson’s refusal.

From the old videos, you can understand that the voice on the audio matches the voice of the Manchester United football player.

A couple of hours later, all photos and stories on Harriet’s account were deleted, and her Instagram profile is now without posts. Perhaps the account was frozen by social network services.

The club responded to the incident with allegations against its player: “We are aware of the images and accusations being circulated on social networks. We will not comment until the facts are established. “Man United does not condone violence of any kind.” Greenwood himself has not yet publicly responded to what happened.

It was previously reported that the couple broke up back in 2020. This is likely due to an incident at the England team’s location: in September 2020, Greenwood, along with Phil Foden, brought two girls to the team hotel in Iceland on the eve of a game with the Denmark team. National team head coach Gareth Southgate then suspended the players from the team. The scandal affected Greenwood’s relationship with his girlfriend — they broke up, but eight months later they continued their relationship, posting joint photos and videos on social networks.

A little later, the couple broke up again. Greenwood and Harriet have known each other since their school days — they attended Ashton-on-Mersey School in Manchester.

While no formal charges have been reported, it is unknown whether Harriet Robson went to the police to report the crime. But Greenwood’s image has already been completely damaged: before the transfer window closes, Manchester United will probably think about parting with their pupil.

The 20-year-old football player has gotten into scandals before: he rented a three-story house where he held parties and forced neighbors to call the police, was late for training, and took girls to the team hotel. But the Robson case is much more serious and could cost Greenwood his career.

This whole story takes place against the backdrop of accusations from another controversial player from Manchester, Benjamin Mendy, who was released from prison on bail in early January. The former Manchester City footballer has been charged with eight counts of sexual offenses and will spend the next six months under house arrest.

Of course, the case with Greenwood is not so serious, but if the girl goes to the police with direct evidence, then Mason will also face big problems. And termination of the contract with Manchester United is the least possible.

Even if Greenwood is not brought to justice, he will still face public condemnation and constant stress, his image has already been damaged. On Instagram, there are hundreds of angry messages under the footballer’s latest post in the spirit: “Your career is over.” Is everything really going to this end?

20-year-old Greenwood has 1 match for the England national team. This season he played 24 matches for Manchester United and scored 6 goals.
